This is a very special set of lenses. Currently there is only around 12 sets on the planet. These lenses started out as Japanese rangefinder lenses in the 60’s and have been rehoused by TLS with Ancient Optics. The T-stops may look slow, but once you’ve seen the image these things produce, you really won’t care. They are low contrast with gorgeous, soft flares. They are plenty sharp enough, despite their age, but they have a magic to them, unlike anything else we currently stock. They have all new 16 blade apertures, installed by TLS. They all cover full frame and this is the format, we think, they are best for.
