BFI London Film Festival 2022: New films supported by Pixipixel

 
 

The BFI London Film Festival is back on 5th – 16th October with a programme packed with brilliant films from around the world. This year’s line-up includes two titles supported with equipment by Pixipixel, we are sure to be worth the hype.

Lady Chatterley’s Lover            

 
 

Lady Chatterley’s Lover is a new take on the classic and controversial novel by D.H. Lawrence. Directed by Laure de Clermont-Tonnerre and starring Golden Globe-winner Emma Corrin (The Crown), it follows the story of woman who breaks with the forms and traditions of her time when she falls out of love with her husband and begins a torrid affair with a man who works on their English estate.

The film is beautifully captured by cinematographer Benoit Delhomme on Arri Alexa Mini LF with a selection of lenses including Zero Optik Canon FD and Tribe 7 Blackwing sets, and a Zeiss Ultra Prime 8mm.

Lady Chatterley’s Lover is showing at BFI London Film Festival on 14th and 16th October 2022.

Pretty Red Dress

 
 

Contemporary British drama “Pretty Red Dress,” follows a family tested to their limit when Travis (Natey Jones), fresh out of jail, is found wearing a dress by his partner Candice (Alexandra Burke) and secretive teenage daughter Kenisha (newcomer Temilola Olatunbosun). The family is sent spinning by this startling discovery and the truths that remain.

Pixipixel provided the studio lighting package for gaffer Greg King.

Pretty Red Dress is premiering on 9th October 2022 at the BFI London Film Festival.
