What’s new in the Mechanix range
We’re excited to announce the latest additions to the Mechanix range – can we get a drum roll please… We introduce the Rotating Camera Mount, Undersling Camera Bracket, Sony Venice 2 Accessory Plate, Magliner Rotating Camera Mount, and Magliner Monitor Attachment.
The Mechanix Rotating Camera Mount and Undersling Camera Bracket are the first camera grip fixtures designed in-house by our Camera Grip Manager Tom Strong. Both products are versatile and adaptable and can be used in various configurations, so let’s dive in into the details.
Mechanix Rotating Camera Mount
The Mechanix Rotating Camera Mount allows mounting cameras to scaff poles with the ability to adjust the rotation up to 360-degrees and lock the angle via a handle. It can be mounted on vertical scaff poles, as well as in upright and underslung positions, with a QR plate or with the Mechanix Undersling Camera Bracket.
Mechanix Undersling Camera Bracket
The Mechanix Undersling Camera Bracket can be used as an attachment to the Rotating Camera Mount for static, tilt and pan adjustable camera angles to mount underslung via a scaff pole. It has multiple mounting positions, three mounting points, each with a 60-degree range of tilt, as well as three height options for smaller and larger camera builds.
Mechanix Accessory Plate for Sony Venice 2
The Mechanix accessory plate fits snuggly against the Sony Venice 2 camera body and has ARRI location fittings for easily adding-on accessories and a removable V-wedge system.
Mechanix Magliner Rotating Camera Mount
The Mechanix Magliner Rotating Camera Mount allows any camera to be fixed to the magliners via a Moy plate, having the ability to be locked to any rotatable position. The camera position sits at a height which does not interfere with the magliner whilst rotating.
Mechanix Magliner Monitor Attachment MKII
This is the improved version of the Mechanix Magliner Monitor Attachment with new features including adjustable monitor positioning, cable management, and ability to fit more accessories to the plate.

We recently introduced the Mechanix Lanyard Bracket which fits seamlessly to the base of the ARRI HI-5 unit, the Mechanix CineTape Mounting Mod that allows for an easy attachment to a camera or other accessories, the Mechanix Rialto Backpack – a bespoke accessory that fits directly to the rear of an Easyrig body vest, allowing you slide the Sony Venice Rialto camera on and off.
