These Super 35 Anamorphic lens have a good mix of vintage and modern characteristics. They have the classic, anamorphic, horizontal flares, oval bokeh and distortion that you associate with anamorphic lenses. They are fast, but sharpen up a lot when shooting at T2.8 or lower (T4 with the extender). They have matching iris and focus gear positions on each lens and a unified 114mm front diameter. The Orion’s are built solidly but aren’t especially bulky for an anamorphic lens with these characteristics.
